Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I live in 55+ mhc in fl. I rent my lot but own my double wide,I want to sell my unit and the park owner say that who ever buys my unit has to pay 25% more in lot rent,I feel they are hindering me as a seller and dicouraging any new buyers, can the park do this? They are only doing it to the mobile home owners not the park modles or 5th wheels

Without seeing you rental agreement or any documents associated with your renting the space in the park, then, yes, they can do this.
You certainly can sell the mobile home but the buyers need to make arrangements to leave the mobile home in the park and so whatever the park says will be what they will need to agree to . Otherwise they will have to move the mobile home out of the park.
