Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Hi I live it Tarpon Springs, Florida and have allowed my oldest daughter to live in my house to help her get back on her feet, after having her first child. It's been two years now and she never pays rent on time. And has now told me she won't pay at all. We have been having a lot of arguments and she does not respect my home or follow my rules. She's using me and my home and making life horrible for myself, my boyfriend and my youngest daughter. My oldest daughter has threatened me and my job if I try to kick her out and has bullied her little sister to try and get her to physically fight her, when my youngest stood up for me after my oldest daughter was screaming at me. She has told me how I cannot kick her out until the end of the year and with the covid 19 virus she has been going out to spend time with her boyfriend on the weekends and has even invited one of her friends into my house without my permission all while the state has been ordered to stay at home. I have no idea what to do. I sent her a two week notice to move out because I can't do this anymore. I'm worried she will start resorting to violence if I push any further so I need legal advice. I heard there are eviction bans happening as of yesterday and I am not sure how to go forward with having her move out of my home so everyone else can live happier. Please please help me. What do I need to do?

Check with local County Court Clerk. I believe you are correct that no evictions are being processed. Other than calling the police there is nothing you can do until the Courts open.
