Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
We have lived at our current residence for almost 2 years. The garage door had been getting considerably worse. My mother in law is disabled and had not been able to operate the door. It is now a danger to us all. We live in Florida. What do we do now?

Send a letter to the landlord and advise them that it needs to be fixed. If not fixed, you may have a right to fix it yourself and charge the landlord back, but you need to have your lease reviewed by an attorney.
