Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I am living in an apartment for 6 months now and I have been having a roaches problems since I moved in and kept calling the office, everytime they come and spray but kept coming back, what do I do? I am in a lease for a year.

The landlord must provide reasonable pest control. If they spray when you call, I don't know whether that is reasonable or unreasonable. You should give the landlord written notice and an opportunity to cure the problem -- whether that is by using different chemicals or spraying the whole building, not just your unit. If the landlord can't (or doesn't) cure the problem, the landlord may let you out of your lease agreement.

Make sure you put your request in writing and send it certified mail so that he can not say he did not get it.

You have a right to live free of pests. Your first step is to send a letter to your landlord by certified mail, return receipt requested, informing him of the problem and asking that they rid the property of pests as soon as possible.
