Tell you what? Do you mean how long may the person stay and still be a "guest" versus "live" there as another tenant? There is no time limit in the FL Statutes. Your lease may say, but I doubt it. Whether a person lives somewhere or is just a "guest" depends on the specific facts: do they have another address? do they receive mail at your address? do they contribute to rent or other household expenses? do they plan to leave? If you are not allowed by your lease to sublet or to have another occupant in the premesis, your landlord reasonably may inquire about any guest who stays overnight more than a few of nights in a row, in my opinion. You can certainly explain the person is only a guest to your landlord and try to obtain the landlord's permission. Or, depending on the facts, the landlord may say you are in breach of the lease and terminate your tenancy. It depends on facts you have not given here.
