Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Mobile home law

I am being served an eviction letter for having a motorcycle. I have had one since 1981. It is stated in the prospectus ''no motorcycles''. I had verbal permission from the owners father [previous owner] because I live on the 1st street and my neighbors are OK with it.

The prospectus also says ''no Vans'' and there are plenty of mini vans. None of those people are getting notices. the property is not zoned for business, yet the security company that the park uses is located within the park at the business owners address. there are also at least 2 other businesses that are operated form residents homes.

Do they have the right to enforce ''no motorcycles'' and not the rest? Can they enforce the ''no Motorcycle'' even though I have had one since 1981 with no incidents, it is not loud and I use it for basis transportaion to and from work?

Re: Mobile home law

Take photos of all the violations. The court may deny eviction based on selective enforcement. Good luck.
