Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Last month I moved out of a rental property and the reality company explained to me it will take 2-6 weeks to get back my deposit. Three weeks went by and I received nothing in the mail. When I called them to ask about the deposit one of the owners of the company told me she wasnt sure if I was getting back the deposit because of the carpet and paint, but she doesnt handle that information. I informed her that I thoroughly cleaned the carpet with a rug/carpet machine and I understood that they may have had to take out some money to touch up the paint because I had a wall hanging T.V. I was told to call back and talk to the person who has that information because I do not think a total of $744 should have been totally compensated. Since then Ive been calling and calling. I have been getting the run around and all I want is a copy of the receipts of what supposedly got repaired. I believe im entitled to having those for my documentation.

The landlord had 30 days or he forfeits his right to the deposit money. Check this site: http://www.800helpfla.com/landlord_text.html
