Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
last month when i paid my rent i wrote a letter with it telling my landlord about the garbage disposal leaking very badly to where i can't use that side of the sink and have to keep a bucket under the sink to catch the water and empty the water daily,and also a couple other things that need fixing that actually needed fixing when i moved in back in april 2013 that still haven't been fixed that were broken when we moved in ,the letter i gave to him in dec 2013 now jan 8 2014 he gave us a 15day notice to move or he will evict us i believe he is doing this because he don't want to fix anything as he has proven this since the begining,what recourse do i have or do i have to move out by jan 31 2014 ? i am on disability and little funds to move with not to mention another place to live isn't easy to find in my area in only 2weeks. What to do?

Do you have a written lease? if not then he can terminate on 15 days notice and it appears that is what he is doing. Try and work it out with him or you may have no choice but to move.
