Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I just moved into a new home I paid 2200 dollars for the first month and deposit. It just was brought to my attention the people that rented me the home do not own it. Now I am afraid that someone the owner or the police will come and arest me after I have been paying rent for 2 months. If I continue to live here would I get in trouble. I have all of my proper documentation as well as the contact information and name of the man that rent me this home.

****

1. can I get in trouble

2. Can the prior owner evict me, even though they are going through the foreclosure.

3. Are there any laws that protect people such as me from this happening to them.

Thank you for answering my question
