Who do I pay my rent to if homeowner gets foreclosed on?
Where can one check on a homeowner to make sure there isn't anything impending?

You check with the public records to see if a "lis pendens" has been filed or if litigation is filed. If the foreclosure has begun you should contact the bank and either pay the rent to the bank or make application to the court in the foreclosure action to pay it to the court registry.
