Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I am a nontransient resident in an rv park in Florida. I'm a senior, disabled woman living alone. 18 months ago I received permission from the park mgr to landscape my space with plants, paver extensions to my patio etc. I was told it was ok as long as I didn't encroach on to the neighboring spaces. I have complied with the stated requirements. 8 months after my garden, yard was in place and after requesting gravel for my pkg space as many other residents had asked for, I started being harassed and intimidated by the park mgr stating that all my plants etc had to be removed. I was not given any explanation as to why nor was it put into writing as to what supposed rules I had violated. April of 2023, I put in writing a request for a very large and unmaintained tree hanging over my trailer and 5 others to be trimmed. Numerous large branches have come down recently. The mgr came to my site irate, ripped up my request and proceeded to say that nothing was wrong with the tree. It is of note that the tree trimming company that services this park told me that it did need to be trimmed. She then proceeded to againbhatass me about my garden. A few weeks later she came back with a man who presented himself as the regional mgr yet only identified himself by first name. No last name and no business card. He stated that I was to do something different with my yard from what the mgr had stated. In the e0 minutes he and the park mgr were talking with me be changed his mind 5 times in what I was to do. I asked for the changes required to be put in writing along with a copy of what rules I had violated. This was my 3rd request since Jan 2023. I have not received anything. The park mgr states that she doesn't have to do that. Everyone in the park, approx 300 sites, love my yard and during the summer they sit outside of my yard with their lawn chairs and admire my solar lights in the plants. She has treated to evict me. I have told her that I am not physically able to do what she wants nor do I have the money anymore to do that. I have put over $6,000 into my yard. Everything can come out as nothing was put in in a permanent basis and all can come down during hurricane season to prevent damage to other people. I have never had any complaints by anyone in the park as to my behavior in the park and in fact am friends to many. I feel I'm being unjustly harassed as an elderly, disabled, on oxygen among other things, and wonder what if anything I can do to protect myself in the event they choose to try to evict me? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need to get a landlord tenant attorney to look at your lease and possibly send a demand letter or such about this issue. If you cannot afford an attorney, try your local pro bono organization. They may be able to provide you an attorney for free.
