Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Owner being Foreclosed
The owner that we are renting from is being foreclosed by his bank.
We .. the tenant was served letting us know of the foreclosure.
The court date is Wed April 4, 2007. We are in the process of looking for an apt. Our lease was up March 31, 2007
2 questions:
Do we have to the end of the week ( April 6 )to move out.. ?
Do we have to appear in court?
Please help..

1. you will have ample time to move. You are now a month to month tenant.
2. you do not have to appear.
