Paying rent after lease breach

We rencently found out the home we rent is going to be foreclosed on.

The court papers stated the landlord hadn't payed the mortgage in almost 9 months.

We are reluctant to pay January's rent because we are losing our place of residence.

Are we obligated to pay the landlord rent after he breached our lease agreement by not paying his mortgage? We live in Florida.
