pet deposit

my lanlord is trying to charge a pet deposit on a pet i was advised to get rid of because i couldn't afford the pet deposit, so i sold my dog under priced just to abid by her wishes. no she's trying to up the price of my rent to compensate for the pet deposit, can she do that?

It depends on what your contract says. I assume you have a contract. If so, it will provide for the rent during the term of the agreement. If your agreement has come to an end, then she is free to raise the rent.
