Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I posted a 3 day notice of eviction for non-payment of rent on January 4th. Friday Jan 8th at 7AM the tenant told me she would be out by 4PM. At 4 PM I checked the house and the tenat was not present. Saturday morning Jan 9th I called the police to see if the tenant was in the house. The tenant was in the house and given by the Broward Sheriff and myself until 4 PM to vacate. The police said I was then able to change the locks. My question is the tenant has left behind most of her belongings... how long must I keep them before disposing of them?

put them on the street. if she wants them she'll get them. Otherwise the trash will pick up.
