Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Our property rent has gone up on our mobile home. when my husband retires next month we will no longer be able to afford it. If we walk out on our mobile home, because they are only offering less than half of what we owe, will they be able to take my husbands retirement money out of the bank?

There are some monies that cannot be garnished. BUT, if you walk away from your debt, and you have any assets that can be attached, you can count on the bank involved to go after those assets. You need to see an attorney before you jump out of the pan and into the fire.
