Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

If someone receives mail at my house are they a tenant

I had a older gay man move in with me as a roomate/tenant for 800 a month. He would bring back strangers with no car and leave them at my house for days or weeks. (I had gotten my car stolen, house robbed etc) Now there is s guy that has moved in another bedroom at my house never has paid a dime of rent and has been their for two months. I have ask him to leave and he refuses and says since he has received mail their for more than three weeks he is a resident and I cannot kick him out. Is this true? I don't want any one in my house at this point and there were no agreements made. what are my rights?

If you accept money or some kind of monetary compensation he has rights and you would need to evict him. Please contact my office should you need to hire a lawyer.
