Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

We rent with a yearly lease that expires 5/31. on 5/11 the landlord informed us she would not renew. We have been looking for a new place but time is running out. Will she be able to lock us out on 6/1.

They can't lock you out. First, they would have to serve you with a three-day-notice to vacate the premises. If you don't vacate after the three days, they would have to sue you by filing an eviction action in the local court.
