Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I have a rental agreement with tenants for my main home. Excluded from the lease is my garage apartment and garage. I have not lived in the apartment for 23 months. The garage apartment was fully furnished and included my personal belongings. The garage was empty with the exception of two bicycles hanging from ceiling hooks. In addition I had stored personal items in a locked closet under the stairwell to the garage apartment. Today, after a yearly inspection, I found my apartment being used as a storage unit and occupied by someone (baby crib) and several of my personal items missing. I also found my garage full of what appears to be household items. There was so much storage I could not even access my closet to check on those personal belongings. What legal action can I take? How do I take any action to get the renters to move their items from the garage and vacate my apartment? When I asked them to please move their items they said "good luck with that" and walked away. I left the property.

Contact an attorney to review your lease agreement and determine all your rights. Notify them of the beach of the agreement by virtue of their using space that is not allowed. If they dont remove the stuff, then file an action for those damages. Review all your options with an attorney .
