Rental

I am late with my rental payment which was due on the 1st, I will be another 3 days till I have the funds. my landlord told me today if I didn't have the rental funds today they will evict us from the property, I have 4 children and do not want this to happen. Please tell me my rights

They will serve you with a three day notice if you are late with rent. After that they will file a lawsuit against you for eviction. You have either 5/20 days to respond, depending on the way in which they filed it against you. You cannot be evicted without a hearing before a judge (unless you dont respond to the lawsuit and are defaulted).
