Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I rented apartment from Hunters ridge ,when I left I cleaned the apartment and cleaned the carpets professionally and turned a receipt to the office and left .Five months later I get letter from a collection scene for 746.00 went to Hunters ridge and asked for itemized list of charges they say I do not clean replaced the carpet I am to pay 25% of cost blinds and a broke window . This is the only communication I received from them in the last 5 months .How do I fight this

Did you get back a security deposit? The issue is that they want to collect these sums from you directly? You advise them that this information is incorrect. Fight it will require you to have evidence that the apartment was in good condition. They will need evidence of the damages to show you are responsible.
