Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
rented a house in Brandon fl gave despoit and pet despoit had to move because of money the rent was to high gave 30 plus days notice in writing and offer to show house and did lots of work to the house landlord said he would split it cost ,well he did not ,but just wont my deposit back,he will not return my call and its ben 30 day ,we left the house spotless and the yard was clean and pool was clean,other then small claims what can i do at this point

He owes you the deposit, you owe him rent. Other than small claims? Your only other choice is to forget getting your deposit back, and hope that your landlord doesn't sue you for upaid rent.
