Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I have been renting this property for the past 3 years. I happend to realized that the landlord has not been paying the mortgage. The property is going in to foreclousure. Friends are advising me not to pay the rent. Is this leagal or what should I do? Thanks.

If you do not pay the rent, you can be evicted. YOu do not own the property and you are not responsible for the foreclosure actions. The bank may allow you to stay at your current rental amount. As it stand now, you are under a lease with the landlord.
