Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I've been renting a room, and have paid my rent until the end of October. The women that I'm renting from got mad at me, and wants me to leave. I told her I would be out by the end of the month, but now she is threatening to change the locks today, and I still have personal belongings there. Can she do that?

Under the law she cannot do that. will she do it anyway? No way to know. the police wont be of any help as they will label it a civil matter. best to work it out.
