Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I am renting a trailer and gave my landlord notice. My payment is due on the third of the month and I am leaving on the 11th he says he will prorate the tent and I only have to pay 310 instead of 775 he still has my deposit so can that 310 not come out of my deposit or should I just pay it

A security deposit is not meant to be used as rent. It is meant to cover possible damage.
