Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
In response to your reply, no the landlady doesn't have open access to come inside the apartment. I'd asked her if I could have the floor professionally cleaned if I were to pay for it and would she look at it for me to see if it warranted the cleaning. Then she began yelling that it was a new floor when I moved in (7 years ago). No, I had/have no plan to sue, for what? My point is more of concern for my safety. Clearly, she has issues that have recently become obvious. That's the only reason I mentioned the neighbor. I'm not the only one she has acted this way towards so it has become an issue but contacting the home office would only reign down more terror upon me. But thanks for the info. You clarified my question. If it gets worse, I guess i will take it up with the ADA lawyer and let him deal with it. I no longer even enjoy week-ends because those aren't off limits for her anymore either and i can't afford to move.

You should consider having the attorney send her a cease and desist letter. If she is not the owner then make sure they are included in the letter.
