Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

rights against condo association

I have lived in a condo for almost 2 years. I found a place in the same association that is bigger and wanted to move to it. I paid the monies to the new landlord and gave my notice to the old. I found out a week later that the association was nto approving me to move. I can stay where I am but I cant move. A person that is not a board member has been harassing me since I moved in and has a big prat in the association not approving me to move. She is not a board member nor does she have the right to tell some of the board members not to allow me to move but she is and has. Now in two short weeks I will be homeless. What are my rights where this person is conserned. How can she dictate to them what I can and can not rent? The landlord had no problem renting to me until she got involved. They took my money and everything. She lied about several incidents that she used to keep me from moving.

Re: rights against condo association

As a tenant you have little rights. It is for your LL to complain.
