Can my roomate evict me when I am on lease too?

Unless you have a written or oral agreement which has been breached, he cannot evict you. You being on the lease does not protect you if you have an independent agreement between or amongst yourselves. Failure to pay rental per the lease can subject you to eviction by the landlord.
