Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
Separate meters
In my lease it says that residents will be charged a fee for office upkeep and other common areas. However the complex is part of the 8 apartments in one of the complexes I live in. But there are only 7 meters and 8 apartments. Is my landlord divided up the cost of the office electricity bill amongst the people living in the same unit complex? Can they do that?
