Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I would like to know; When you have been served a 3-day notice over two weeks old and made a some sort of a payment to your landlord since that notice was served. Does the landlord have to present you with a new 3 day notice again and then wait 3 days before filing an eviction complaint within our local court? Or can he now proceed to file without re-serving another 3 day notice?

If the landlord has accepted a partial payment after serving a 3-day notice, the landlord must serve a new 3-day notice before proceding to eviction.
