Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I signed a lease extension for 1 year with a $50 increase. I have not paid the increase for 4 months. Is my lease active? I have just paid the regular rent amount since signing the extension with a request sent through email to speak to the landlords. Now I am mailed a termination of lease letter with 30 days to move. I sent a check of $200 certified mail to landlords and it was returned to me stating I am a month to month tenant and must leave within 30 days or I will be evicted. Is my lease legally upholding? This is a commercial lease as I am a small business and cant possibly move within 30 days.
