Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I signed a 12 month lease and my roommate is on as an occupant. I pay the rent and utilities and she pays me her half when she can. She now owes me $1200 and i want her evicted. I asked my property manager and they said they can't evict her because she owes me and not them. What are my legal rights to have her vacate ASAP? Can I give her a three day notice to pay and then take her to small claims court?
