Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
We have a small business and sublet one room of our building. We have reason to believe the subtenat is planning to move out at the end of October, even though the lease does not expire until the end of next January. What are our options if they do skip out?

Read your lease. You must mitigate your damages if the tenant does leave by trying to sublet the the room. However, that only leaves you three months unpaid rent. So you can sue for the portion that you lost in rent and any damages that they may have done to the unit.
