Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I am a snowbird residing in a RV park from Dec-Mar. In April of 2017 I signed an agreement contract for Dec 1, 2017-Apr. 1, 2018. After I arrived, I was given a notice / rule change that I would have to move my boat off my site to storage and store it there. I have been on the same site for the past 4 years and now without prior notice I am surprised with this rule change. The storage site is not secure, well lighted, or has battery charging connections. No one in the park with fishing equipment wants to comply because the park may only be liable for $1000.00 if a theft would occur. They should have notified us and allowed us to change rv parks and refunds before installing rule. What is my position?

It would depend on the restrictions and covenants of the park. Are the homeowners allowed to be part of the voting of changes in the park?
