Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

My son's girfriend insists on him being put as an occupant (quoting his SSN) in her lease agreement. Does that carry legal and financial responsibility? He is 21 and still living at home and going to university. As such he is included in our household's insurance and tax forms. If he is being listed as occupant under a different address does that mean we will have to take him off our insurance and tax forms?

Never give up the Social Security number. Secondly, yes, his legal address will be there. As to the taxes you need to speak to the tax accountant as if he is a student and your income was used to determine his tuition, you may be ok but may be not.
