I submitted a letter to the judge in my eviction case letting her know we were still bein harrassed by our old lanlo4rd when I checked the docket a minute aho SAID THAT thefile was checked out as a stray pleading what does stray pleading mean?

Generally letters to the Judge are not favored. No communication should be held with the Judge independent of providing a copy to the other side as well. In addition, your letter was not in the form of a Motion which is the only way to approach the Court. I think the "stray" pleading concept is because it does not fit in an appropriate category as referenced above.
