Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I am right to want to sue my landlord for a deposit and possible back rent owed to me?

I gave appropriate time for vacating my rental, sent certified mail and ground letter. My house is spot less, put money into the house to make sure it was satifactor when I left. I moved out 2 weeks early, left the keys as instructed at my realitors main office. Left a letter, emailed and called for time and date of last inspection on the rental. It's been over a week and I have not heard a word from them. I did not have my phone hooked up but they have my email address, my voice mail and my work number and now they are avoiding my calls. I am a single mother with no money, I know they have an attorney, I can't afford one in court. I would never be able to win if I went up against them in court if they have a lawyer to represent them. I have witnesses, pictures and a paper trail if need be. I never expected a full deposit back who does, do to wear and tear of the house, I have been in the house for goin on 3 years. But to ignore my request for even to be there for the last inspection has been ignored.

Please help

A helpful resource is available at http://www.800helpfla.com/landlord_text.html. You may want to contact local legal aid clinic. The Florida Statutes, 83.49,3(c) state that the prevailing party has the right to "receive his or her court costs plus a reasonable fee for his or her attorney." Depending upon how much your deposit is for, it may be worth the initial money to hire someone to help you if you don't qualify for legal aid. Regards,
