Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
can I be sued out of state for a broken lease?
We had a signed lease and we had to move to another state 4 months early, the landlord is threatening to sue if we dont pay the remaining balance owed, since they were unable to re-rent. Can they sue us if we are across the country?
