Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
suing over a dog bite
I am renting my home out.someone called and said the tenants dog bit her 4 months ago.She said she was suing me the landlord. My tenant said it was a minor nick and there was no blood or medical attention needed or sought. this came about because the tenant had a falling out with this person.Am I as a landlord responsible or the tenant that owned the dog.

You are only liable for your carelessness, if any, not his.
