Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
I may be taking my old landlord to court for trying to keep my security deposit, every reason he's itemized but one is totally false and dramatized. I also know that they are remodeling every unit from my floor plan, to a new updated one, and I believe they're trying to keep my deposit so that they save on those renovations they'd be making anyway. Other than video of my leaving the premises, and records or repair requests, what's a reasonable way to prove that they're wrongfully keeping my deposit for their own financial gain in future inevitable repairs?

Evidence that negates each of the claims made by the landlord. Really impossible to know what that is without knowing the claims.
