Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

What Is Tenant Entitled To?

After 2 years, landlord still refuses to give reason as to why my Security Deposit was not returned, at all. I want to take him to court. In the state of FL, what am I entitled to? Just my Security Deposit and court costs? Or am I entitled to double or triple the Deposit amount?

Re: What Is Tenant Entitled To?

Court costs and attorney fees and the deposit. With a proper letter, we might be able to seek triple damages for civil theft. Please contact my office if you would like a consult.
