Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

if tenant gave me 30 days notice on 9/1/2009 can a tenant change mind & stay with or without paying rent, if so, what can i do? Do I have to go through eviction process?

Gosh, I hope not.! Please help!!!!!
