Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

tenant law state of florida. landlord has not fixed problems with major appliances such as the refrigerator keeps temp at 50 degrees, washing machine which stops after the tub fills takes 5 to 10 mins. to start washing. ceiling fans when operating for 15 to 20 mins smells like burnt wire. Have e-mailed and telephoned landlord since beginning of lease 2/1/2010. help

Send a certified return receipt letter - tell him to fix the problems or you will withhold the rent. You will then need to deposit the rent with the registry at the court until he complies with repairs. Otherwise you may be able to sue for three months rent.
