Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I'm a tenant on 12/31/2009 I recieved a lis pendens on the property, after that I have received several documents the last 3 a a plaintiff's motion for summary jugjemant including hearing taxt atteney's fee and cost, a notice of voluntary dissal of defandent and a montion and a motion for deafult. I don't know if I should be looking for another place according to my landlord she has everything under contorl.

I don't know who the motion for default was filed against, but if a default judgment is entered against your landlord, then she does not have things under control and likely did not answer the complaint. You can check the status of the case with the court online. You have to continue paying rent until your tenancy is terminated. If you stop paying, you will owe your landlord and can be evicted. Your lease will control whether you can terminate early. Regards,
