Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I have a tenant that is renting a room in my house. He hasn't paid last months rent, and refuses to leave unless he receives the security deposit he gave. This deposit was used for the month he did not pay. I need to find a lawyer that will help me evict these people from my home. How can I do this, and what are my rights as a landlord? I do not want to have them in my home any longer, they have no respect for me or my rules, and refuse to house strangers in my home for free. How can I get them out??

File an eviction notice in the landlord tenant division of your local county court. Also file a claim for rent due. You may not keep their security deposit, if AFTER they move out there is no damage, but you can hold it until the small claims case for unpaid rent is heard and decided, providing that you file it timely.
