Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Tenant rights

I have called 2 days in a row to have my a/c fixed. It is not getting any cooler in the apartment. I have to be cool as I have a spasmatic esophagus and the hotter I get the more painful it is. What can I do?

Re: Tenant rights

The landlord has a reasonable amount of time to repair the air condition (assuming they are required to supply it) after they are notified of the need to repair. If the landlord does not after such notice, you may terminate the lease and move out.
