An individual without a license can show and negotiate a lease. Unless they have a power of attorney for the landlord, as an individual, or authority from an entity, they cannot sign the lease for the owner of the property. They dont have to have ownership interest to do the above work. The lease can only be valid and enforceable if the parties to the agreement had a meeting of the minds and had authority to enter into the resulting agreement.
