Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
There was water damage in a bedroom when I rented the house I am living in and was promised that there would be new padding and new carpet installed. I can't stay in the room for very long, it affects my breathing.
I have it written in my application (leasing company accepted) and in my lease aggrement (leasing company signed). Does that constitute breach of contract?

That all depends. When did they say it would be done. If you gave them 30 days and they did not comply, then yes you have a valid case.
