I feel for your situation. The first thing that comes to mind is see if you qualify for unemployment compensation; I'm not sure if you do with temporary employment jobs, but it is really worth looking into. The second thing that comes to my mind is to see if declaring bankruptcy will help; you may be able to at least keep your car for a while. The third thing that comes to my mind (not legal) is to make sure you are using all available job bank resources: careerbuilder.com, monster.com; make sure you have well-written resumes posted. There are also some job sites which are specialized to particular industries, and maybe you could look at those too.

Please look into unemployment @ www.fluidnow.com. Please also get a free consultation with a bankruptcy attorney to determine if they may help you. Email me if you want your resume reviewed or help with job postings. I can't help with bankruptcy or worker's comp b/c I have never practiced that kind of law.
