Impossible to really answer this question. If the home was purchased as a primary residence and there was not judgment lien when you closed, homestead would protect it from any liens. If the property ever changes its homestead status, then the lien if it exists would apply to the property. The lien would likely only apply if a judgment was obtained by the hospital against you. more detailed information is needed to answer with any certainty.
